주사위 여섯 면을 다 보려면 평균 14.7번쯤 던져야 해요. 처음엔 새 면이 잘 나오지만, 하나 남으면 나올 확률이 1/6뿐이라 오래 걸려요. 띠부씰이나 카드 모으기에서 마지막 한두 장이 유독 안 나오는 것도 수학적으로 당연한 일이에요.
