The pigeonhole principle · Why two Seoul residents must have the same number of hairs
Put 10 pigeons into 9 holes and at least one hole gets two. This obvious idea proves surprising things. A head has at most a few hundred thousand hairs, but Seoul has over 9 million people, so at least two people must have exactly the same number of hairs.
