네 자리 수(숫자가 다 같지 않은 것)의 숫자를 큰 순서로 놓은 수에서 작은 순서로 놓은 수를 빼는 걸 반복하면, 일곱 번 안에 6174에 도착해요. 그다음엔 7641-1467=6174로 계속 제자리예요. 1949년 인도 수학자 카프리카가 발견했어요.

Kaprekar's constant 6174 · Rearrange and subtract four digits and you always hit 6174
Take a four-digit number (not all digits the same), arrange its digits largest-first and smallest-first, and subtract. Repeat, and you reach 6174 within seven steps. After that, 7641 − 1467 = 6174 forever. Indian mathematician D. R. Kaprekar found it in 1949.
