시선 추적 실험을 해 보면 사람들은 글 많은 웹페이지 윗부분을 가로로 두 번쯤 읽고, 그다음엔 왼쪽 줄을 따라 세로로 훑어 내려가요. 그 자국이 알파벳 F처럼 보여요. 2006년 닐슨 노먼 그룹의 연구로 알려져서, 중요한 말을 문단 첫머리에 두라는 조언이 나왔어요.

Eye-tracking shows people read across the top of a text-heavy page a couple of times, then scan down the left side. The heat map looks like a letter F. Nielsen Norman Group's 2006 research made it known, leading to the advice to put key words at the start of paragraphs.
