중요한 버튼은 왜 크게, 화면 모서리에 둘까
피츠의 법칙
목표물까지 손이나 마우스를 옮기는 시간은 거리가 멀수록, 목표가 작을수록 길어져요. 1954년 심리학자 폴 피츠가 실험으로 정리했어요. 화면 모서리는 마우스가 더 못 나가고 멈추니 무한히 큰 버튼처럼 쓸 수 있어서, 메뉴를 모서리에 두는 경우가 많아요.

Fitts's law · Why important buttons are big and tucked in screen corners
The time to move your hand or mouse to a target grows with distance and shrinks with target size. Psychologist Paul Fitts set this out in experiments in 1954. Screen edges stop the cursor, acting like infinitely large buttons, so menus often live there.
