바꾸는 게 더 나을 수 있어도 지금 상태를 그대로 두려는 경향이에요. 1988년 경제학자 새뮤얼슨과 제크하우저가 실험과 실제 보험·연금 선택 자료로 보여 줬어요. 통신사나 요금제를 몇 년째 안 바꾸는 것도, 바꾸다 잘못될 손해가 더 크게 느껴지기 때문이에요.

We prefer to keep things as they are, even when a change might be better. Economists Samuelson and Zeckhauser showed it in 1988 with experiments and real insurance and pension choices. Losses from switching loom larger than possible gains.
