경매에서 이기고도 손해 보는 이유
승자의 저주
값어치를 정확히 모르는 물건을 경매하면, 가장 높게 부른 사람은 대개 그 가치를 가장 크게 잘못 본 사람이에요. 그래서 이기고도 실제 가치보다 비싸게 산 꼴이 되기 쉬워요. 1971년 미국 석유회사 기술자들이 해양 유전 입찰 결과를 보고 처음 이름을 붙였어요.
