유난히 크고 밝은 보름달의 정체
슈퍼문
달은 지구를 타원으로 돌아서 가까울 때와 멀 때가 있어요. 가장 가까울 즈음 보름달이 뜨면 평소보다 조금 더 크고 밝게 보여서 '슈퍼문'이라고 해요. 다만 차이가 크지 않아서 맨눈으로는 잘 구별하기 어려워요.

The moon's orbit is an ellipse, so it's sometimes nearer and sometimes farther. A full moon near the closest point looks a bit bigger and brighter, called a supermoon. The difference is small, though, and hard to tell by eye.
