달이 해를 딱 맞게 가리는 신기한 우연
개기일식의 우연
해는 달보다 약 400배 크지만 지구에서 약 400배 멀어서 둘이 하늘에서 거의 같은 크기로 보여요. 그래서 개기일식 때 달이 해를 꼭 맞게 가려 해 둘레 빛(코로나)이 드러나요. 달은 조금씩 멀어지고 있어서 먼 미래엔 개기일식이 사라져요.
