한낮엔 파란 하늘이 저녁엔 왜 빨갛게 될까
붉은 노을의 이유
해가 낮게 뜨면 햇빛이 공기층을 훨씬 길게 지나와요. 그동안 파란빛은 사방으로 다 흩어져 버리고, 잘 안 흩어지는 빨간빛과 주황빛만 눈에 닿아요. 공기 중에 먼지나 연기가 적당히 있으면 더 진하게 물들기도 해요.

When the sun is low, its light travels through far more air. Along the way blue light scatters off in every direction, leaving mostly red and orange to reach your eyes. A bit of dust or smoke in the air can deepen the colors.
