해가 제일 긴 하지보다 한여름이 더 더운 이유
계절 지연
햇빛을 가장 많이 받는 날은 6월 하지지만, 땅과 바다가 열을 모으는 데 시간이 걸려요. 그래서 가장 더운 때는 7월 말~8월 초로 한 달 넘게 늦게 와요. 겨울도 동지보다 1월이 더 추운 게 같은 이유예요.

The most sunlight arrives at the June solstice, but land and sea take time to store heat. So the hottest stretch comes over a month later, in late July to early August. January being colder than the winter solstice works the same way.
