날짜변경선
태평양 한가운데쯤 그어진 날짜변경선을 서쪽으로 넘으면 하루가 더해지고, 동쪽으로 넘으면 하루가 빠져요. 그래서 한국에서 미국으로 가면 출발한 날짜보다 이른 날에 도착하기도 해요. 섬나라 사정에 맞춰 선이 지그재그로 휘어 있어요.
