윤초
지구 자전이 원자시계만큼 일정하지 않아서, 둘이 어긋나면 1초를 더해 맞춰 왔어요. 1972년부터 27번 넣었고 마지막은 2016년 말이었어요. 컴퓨터 오류를 일으켜서 2035년까지 윤초를 없애기로 국제적으로 정했어요.

Earth's spin isn't as steady as atomic clocks, so a second has been added when they drift apart. It was done 27 times starting in 1972, the last at the end of 2016. Because it causes computer glitches, the world agreed to drop leap seconds by 2035.
