파레토 법칙
이탈리아 경제학자 파레토는 나라 땅의 80%를 인구 20%가 갖고 있다는 걸 알아챘어요. 이후 '매출의 80%는 상품 20%에서', '옷장 옷 20%만 자주 입는다'처럼 적은 원인이 결과 대부분을 만든다는 뜻으로 널리 쓰여요. 80과 20은 딱 맞는 숫자가 아니라 쏠림을 보여 주는 대략적인 표현이에요.
