잔디밭에 사람들이 만든 지름길
욕망의 길
인도가 빙 둘러 나 있으면 사람들이 잔디를 가로질러 다니면서 흙길이 생기는데, 이걸 '욕망의 길'이라고 해요. 사람들이 실제로 원하는 동선을 보여 줘서, 일부러 길을 늦게 깔고 생긴 자국을 따라 포장하는 곳도 있어요. 도시 설계자와 디자이너들이 자주 드는 예예요.

Desire paths · Shortcuts people wear into the grass
When a sidewalk takes the long way around, people cut across the lawn and wear a dirt trail, called a desire path. Because it shows how people really want to move, some places wait to see where trails form and then pave them. Urban planners and designers often use it as an example.
