가을 은행 열매에서 고약한 냄새가 나는 이유
은행 냄새
은행 열매의 겉껍질에 들어 있는 부티르산 같은 성분 때문이에요. 상한 버터나 발 냄새와 비슷한 물질이에요. 열매는 암나무에만 열려서, 요즘은 길가에 수나무를 골라 심거나 암나무를 바꿔 심기도 해요.
