시곗바늘은 왜 오른쪽으로 돌까
시계 방향의 유래
기계식 시계가 처음 만들어진 유럽 같은 북반구에서는 해시계의 그림자가 왼쪽에서 오른쪽으로 돌았어요. 시계가 그 익숙한 방향을 따라 만들어졌다는 설명이 널리 알려져 있어요. 남반구 해시계라면 반대로 돌아요.
