가을에 잎이 빨갛고 노랗게 변하는 원리
단풍이 드는 이유
날이 추워지면 나무가 초록 색소인 엽록소를 분해해요. 그러면 원래 숨어 있던 노란 색소가 드러나 은행잎처럼 노래져요. 단풍나무의 빨간색은 가을에 새로 만든 색소라서, 낮엔 맑고 밤엔 쌀쌀해야 더 곱게 들어요.
