규모와 진도
규모는 지진 자체가 낸 에너지 크기라 지진 하나에 값이 하나예요. 진도는 각 지역에서 실제로 흔들린 정도라 가까운 곳은 크고 먼 곳은 작아요. 규모가 1 커지면 에너지는 약 32배 커져요.

Magnitude measures the energy the quake released, so each quake has one value. Intensity is how strongly the ground shook at each place, higher nearby and lower far away. One step up in magnitude means about 32 times more energy.
