헬륨을 마시면 목소리가 오리처럼 변하는 이유
헬륨 목소리
헬륨 속에서는 소리가 공기보다 훨씬 빨리 퍼져요. 성대 떨림 자체는 그대로지만 목과 입 안에서 울리는 소리의 색깔이 높은 쪽으로 바뀌어 가늘게 들려요. 헬륨만 마시면 숨이 막힐 수 있어 위험해요.

Sound travels much faster in helium than in air. Your vocal cords vibrate the same, but the resonance in your throat and mouth shifts higher, so you sound thin. Breathing pure helium can suffocate you, so it's dangerous.
