뜻을 따져 본 단어가 더 오래 남는 이유

정보를 얼마나 깊이 생각했느냐에 따라 기억이 오래가는 정도가 달라져요. 글자 모양이나 소리만 훑은 단어보다 뜻을 곱씹은 단어가 훨씬 잘 기억나요. 1972년 크레이크와 록하트가 '처리 수준'이라는 이름으로 정리한 생각이에요.
