열대야
기상청은 밤사이 가장 낮은 기온이 25도 이상이면 열대야라고 해요. 낮에 데워진 땅과 건물이 밤에도 열을 내뿜고, 습하면 열이 하늘로 잘 안 빠져서 생겨요. 도시는 콘크리트 때문에 더 자주 생겨요.

Korea's weather agency calls it a tropical night when the overnight low stays at 25°C or above. Ground and buildings heated by day release warmth at night, and humid air keeps it from escaping. Cities get them more because of concrete.
