산을 넘은 바람이 뜨겁고 메마른 이유

습한 바람이 산을 오르며 비를 뿌리고, 마른 채로 반대편을 내려오면서 압축돼 기온이 쑥 올라가요. 초여름 영서 지방을 덥게 만드는 '높새바람'이 대표적이에요. 산불이 잘 번지는 원인이 되기도 해요.
