정보를 나와 연결 지어 생각하면 훨씬 잘 기억돼요. 1977년 로저스 연구진의 실험에서 단어를 보고 '이게 나를 설명하나?'를 따져 본 사람들이 뜻이나 소리만 따진 사람들보다 단어를 더 많이 기억했어요. 공부할 때 내 경험에 빗대 보면 좋은 이유예요.

The self-reference effect · Why things about you are easier to remember
Linking information to yourself makes it much more memorable. In a 1977 study by Rogers and colleagues, people who judged whether words described them remembered more than those who judged meaning or sound. Relating material to your own life helps when studying.
