이미 써 버려서 돌려받을 수 없는 돈이나 시간 때문에 손해인 줄 알면서도 계속하는 경향이에요. 영국과 프랑스가 적자를 알면서도 초음속 여객기 개발을 이어 간 일에서 따와 '콩코드 오류'라고도 불러요. 따져야 할 건 앞으로 들 비용과 얻을 것뿐이에요.

The sunk cost fallacy · Why you finish a bad movie because you paid for it
We keep going with something because of money or time already spent and gone, even when it's a loss. It's also called the Concorde fallacy, after Britain and France continuing the supersonic jet despite the red ink. Only future costs and benefits should count.
