확증 편향
이미 믿고 있는 것에 맞는 정보는 잘 찾고 잘 기억하면서, 반대되는 정보는 흘려보내는 경향이에요. 혈액형 성격설이 잘 맞는 것처럼 느껴지는 것도 맞았던 순간만 기억에 남기 때문이에요. 일부러 반대 의견을 찾아보는 게 좋은 해독제예요.

Confirmation bias · Why you only notice what fits your beliefs
It's the tendency to seek out and remember information that fits what you already believe, while brushing off the rest. Horoscopes feel accurate partly because we remember the hits and forget the misses. Deliberately looking for opposing views is a good antidote.
