눈을 감고 비비거나 누르면 반짝이는 무늬가 보이죠? 빛이 들어온 게 아니라 압력이 망막 세포를 건드려서 뇌가 빛으로 느끼는 거예요. 영어로는 포스핀(phosphene)이라고 해요.

Rub or press your closed eyes and you see sparkly patterns. No light is coming in; pressure stimulates retina cells, and the brain reads it as light. They're called phosphenes.
