상어의 전기 감각
상어 주둥이에는 젤리로 찬 작은 구멍(로렌치니 기관)이 잔뜩 있어서, 살아 있는 동물의 근육이 내는 아주 약한 전기를 느껴요. 그래서 모래 속에 숨은 물고기도 찾아내요. 지구 자기장을 느껴 길을 찾는 데도 쓴다는 연구가 있어요.

Shark electroreception · How sharks find prey hidden in sand
A shark's snout is dotted with jelly-filled pores (ampullae of Lorenzini) that sense the faint electricity from living animals' muscles. That lets them find fish buried in sand. Research suggests they may also use them to sense Earth's magnetic field.
