곰은 겨울잠 동안 몇 달씩 먹지 않고 오줌도 거의 누지 않아요. 가을에 찌운 지방으로 버티고, 몸에서 나온 노폐물을 다시 단백질로 재활용해요. 체온은 조금만 내려가서 위험하면 금방 깰 수 있어요.
